曾經記憶中有一年跟朋友晚上來這裡看螢火蟲，當時數量只有幾隻，但對於沒看過的我來說已經大開眼界。由於天太黑到處都沒看見，後來在今次的郊遊途中來到這裡，既熟悉又陌生，這條路我走過，但這樣的風景卻未看過。

交通方面不說了，到達後沿著左邊的樓梯上，這是菠蘿壩自然教育徑，走這條路比較快。

中途會看到城門郊遊遊客中心，有些關於城門水塘的小資訊和給小朋友玩的遊戲

慢慢地走著，可以看到溪澗，有涼亭，在樹蔭下走著，不算太辛苦

走了一段路，來到了漂亮的白千層樹林，這裡很美，很多人都在拍照，在這裡看到了這美麗的風景，很漂亮很舒服，陽光在樹和樹之間照射著，很柔和，喜歡這裡慢活著。

等了好久才拍到了一張比較少人的照片，但也值得的。穿過樹林，就到達水塘邊的白千層了！

那裡有人釣魚，有人在拍攝，野餐都有，絕對是一個好地方！在這裡椅著大樹乘涼，看著對面的人們在拍照，十分寫意。

交通: 荃灣港鐵站B1出口，眾安街與兆和街交界乘82號小巴到城門水塘
